Not a sweet deal June 4, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Try the packets instead ... can't seem to gauge what is the best amount to use. Look at agave nectar also, a natural product that is really delicious.
My Favorite Sweetener May 30, 2008 I learned about Stevia years ago from a guy at work. After trying various brands and formulations, I happened upon SweatLeaf SteviaPlus. I really like the shaker jars, the lack of aftertaste (unless you use too much), and the added FOS, basically fiber. It's a healthy, great tasting sweetener, and Amazon has the best price around. Try it, you'll like it!
absolutely love it May 3, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm not sure where the folks are saying this is bitter. I would guess that they are just using too much at one time. You need far far less stevia than other sugar substitutes or sugar. Actually I think it is almost sweeter than sugar. I use this in my hot tea. Great product. I love the idea that it is not sugar and that it is not a chemical substitute for sugar.
Where's the sweetness at? April 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have tried this product and it does not taste sweet to me. It tastes kind of bitter. I have gone back to using splenda. When I was using this product I had to use a packet or two of splenda with it to hide the bitter taste. I was using this powder with milk and cold cereal.
Good product March 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Really good in hot foods such as oatmeal and coffee. Does not dissolve well in cold foods or cold liquids.I will definitely buy again.
