Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Did you ever wonder what happens to the Jelly Belly jelly beans that are a little less perfect? Or the ones that somehow escaped the Jelly Belly logo stamper? Well, those are our beloved Belly Flops!

Belly Flops are no less flavorful, or lovable, than regular Jelly Belly jelly beans; they just come in wild shapes and sizes. You may find one that?s round, one that?s square, or you may even find a bunch stuck together. On very rare occasions, a flavor may not match a color. A red Belly Flop might taste like Blueberry, or a white one might taste like Chocolate Pudding. Crazy!

Belly Flop bags contain a lot of different assortments, and each bag is randomly packed. But you?re sure to get a good variety of flavors in each bag.

Net weight 2 lbs.

2 out of 5 stars Not For Me   August 5, 2008

I understood the selection would be random but I was not prepared for 99 percent dark beans. I love Jelly Belly but the flops are something I will pass on.

5 out of 5 stars A Fun (and Tasty) Conversation Piece!   July 16, 2008
We've been huge fans of Jelly Belly for years, and we recently decided to try our the BellyFlops - partly as a way to save some money on our addiction, and partly just for fun. We ordered two of the 2-lb bags, and both of them looked to have a good mix of flavors. While not every flavor is represented, we do have a nice variety, and some of the flavors appear to be from the special lines like the Sours, which we wouldn't normally get in a mixed bag.

For the most part, the beans just seem to be misprints. The signature Jelly Belly stamp is missing, or the colorful spots on a Tutti-Fruitti bean are not very apparent, but there are some of those crazy monster globs in there! They do look crazy, but they taste fine. For the 2-3 bean conglomerates, it's kind of like eating one of those larger jelly beans you traditionally get at Easter. For larger lumps, you might want to eat them in bites! (We just ran into an enormous 10-bean fusion!)

The best part about the Belly Flops, however, is that they're unique! I remember years ago when Jelly Belly was harder to find and the concept of a Buttered Popcorn or Strawberry Daiquiri flavored jelly bean was still a novelty that sparked people's interest and got them excited about trying all the different flavors. The Belly Flops seem to recreate this same reaction! We took one of our bags to a party, and once we explained what they were, everyone was eager to dive in and see what kinds of unusual beans they encountered. The Flops made a great conversation piece and really got people laughing and talking!

5 out of 5 stars Yum Yum!   July 1, 2008
My co-workers and myself go through belly flops very quickly; we have a rotation and each person buys 2 bags when it is their turn. Never had a problem with lack of variety and we all manage to eat them all up despite some of the odd flavors. It's a mis-matched glorious bag of belly flops, take 'em like it comes because because there has been no complaints at this end.

5 out of 5 stars fun stuff!!   May 20, 2008
These are great for a quisitive time. Just not knowing what you're gonna get is fun! They're like life but in a flavored little jelly bean.

3 out of 5 stars Mixed bag   May 19, 2008
These are a great value if you don't care what flavors you get. I bought 4 bags: 1 was almost entirely licorice; 2 others primarily sours. Fun to eat the different shapes but be aware that the flavors may not be to your taste.
